Job Description

Job Summary

The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing skilled nursing care to patients requiring nursing services in the home in conjunction with the patient, family and the interdisciplinary team, as ordered by the physician. 


Qualifications and Requirements

Education Background

BSN preferred.

Work Experience

2 – 5 years recent applicable clinical experience as a professional nurse desirable, preferably in a medical/ surgical unit or home health setting

Motor Vehicle Experience/Record

All drivers must be 18 years of age and have been driving for a minimum of two (2) years, although 21 years of age is preferred. All drivers must have a current, valid Washington State Drivers License and current auto insurance.

License or Certification

Current CPR certification.

Current RN licensure to practice nursing in Washington State.



This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between EvergreenHealth and the Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA). Union membership is optional. 

For internal applicants only: This BSN requirement does not apply to Registered Nurses hired before April 1, 2014 and does not impede the ability to transfer internally for those working on a BSN who were hired after April 1, 2014.
